Standard prototype processing flow

  1. Preliminary preparation: Conduct design review to confirm the completeness and feasibility of the 3D model; select suitable materials based on functional requirements. For CNC machining, generate CNC code and perform simulation verification. For 3D printing, export STL/OBJ format files.
  2. Main body processing: CNC completes processes such as cutting, milling, and drilling to form the initial shape, while 3D printing directly builds the shape based on the model.
  3. Post-processing stage
  • Manual processing: removing knife marks and burrs, performing bonding, grinding, polishing, and data calibration;
  • Surface treatment: Support processes such as painting, electroplating, anodizing, silk screening, laser engraving, and brushing to enhance the appearance quality and protectiveness; for plastic oil spraying, it is necessary to remove oil, static electricity, and dust first, and conduct 2-3 coats of spraying and drying;
  • Assembly and debugging: Install components such as circuits and sensors, conduct trial assembly, and perform functional debugging.
  1. Quality inspection and shipment: Conduct appearance, function, and performance tests. After optimization and adjustment, if the quality meets the standards, the products can be packaged and delivered.

Special prototype processing

  1. Aluminum alloy prototype: It has low density, high strength, good electrical and thermal conductivity, and corrosion resistance. For processing, layered multi-step processing can be used to reduce deformation, or CNC machining can be employed to meet the needs of complex parts. It is widely used in optoelectronics, aerospace, automotive, and other fields, with a short production cycle that allows for rapid verification of product performance.
  2. Robot prototype: The process includes design modeling, material selection, CNC machining, surface treatment, assembly and debugging, testing and optimization, and quality inspection to ensure that the prototype’s functionality and performance meet the design requirements.
